This unique summer camp was designed by Bryce Salvador, current St. Louis Blues defenseman; Rick Zombo, former St. Louis Blues defenseman; and Sean Ferrell, Hockey Academy Assistant Director. What better way to improve your skills than to learn straight from players who have patrolled the blue line for the St. Louis Blues.
The Defense Skills Camp is designed specifically for players wanting to take their defense skills to the next level.
Our comprehensive approach to training and instruction encompasses on-ice, off-ice and chalk-talk components.

Hi Rick,
I just wanted to thank you, Bryce, Sean and all the coaches for a great defense camp this summer. Noah has learned and improved so much in the past few weeks it is almost unbelievable to my wife and I. He now has a lot more confidence in his skating and his ability to be a defenseman on whatever team he plays for.
Your attention to detail and making sure everyone does the drills the correct way has taught him many valuable lessons. I keep telling him how lucky he is to have NHL and professional players teaching him, and I feel he is really taking advantage of the opportunity. He can't wait to work with the Hockey Academy staff again, especially the defense guys!!
