Rick Zombo played in more than 600 NHL games, patrolling the blue line for great Detroit Red Wings and
St. Louis Blues teams. Now, he is patrolling the floor of The Hockey Academy of St. Louis, offering individual skills training with his expert team of hockey instructors. There is no better way for any player, regardless of age or skill level, to advance their hockey-specific skills.
The Hockey Academy of St. Louis' Individual Skill sessions provide comprehensive training focused on improving all fundamental hockey skills, including skating stride, stickhandling, vision, strength and explosive skating speed. Players will train either individually or in groups of four to allow for optimum recovery in between repetitions.
Our 90-minute sessions are specifcally designed to enhance hockey skills in an environment that is fun but challenging. Our progressive drills are based on NHL experience and allow players of all ages and abilities to train at their maximum level.
At The Hockey Academy of St. Louis, skills training goes beyond off-ice and on-ice training. Every athlete that trains at our facility receives a swipe card that records their performance data at various points at our facility and during our on-ice programs. This data is uploaded to www.mytotalhockey.com, an innovative online platform allowing players, parents and coaches to track the progress of a player's development. No more bias. Our patent-pending technology provides accurate measurements of a player's skill level and development.
